How To Do A Sun Salutaion

The Sun Salutation (Salute To The Sun) is a yoga practice traditionally performed in the morning to greet the new day. It is one of my favorite ways to wake up as it really helps to energise the body and mind.

It may take you a few sessions to get your posture and breathing in harmony but you’ll find this practice has a great cross over into everyday life. You not only feel lighter when you finish but you’ll notice greater mental acuity and productivity throughout the day. In this weeks video I’ll show how to perform The Sun Salutation. You can do it as a stand alone energy session or as a warm up for other activities. The key is to breathe slowly and deeply in tune with the movement.
