How To Improve Your Posture

Poor posture can have a major impact on how we feel and how we live our lives – and it goes far beyond the way we look.

It can result in neck and back pain, reduced blood flow, restricted movement and possible injury. Thankfully, there is plenty we can do to improve our posture and bring our body back into balance. Strengthening the areas that have become weak and elongated whilst mobilising and stretching the areas that have tightened up will re-align the body, creating balance within our muscle groups and joints. Continuing on from our neck and shoulder mobility work this weeks move strengthens the postural muscles of the upper back and back of the shoulder blades. It will help open out the chest and place the shoulders into their correct position.
