Mark Cooper: From Smoker To Ultra Runner

From time to time we all need a bit of inspiration and what better story than that of Mark Cooper.

In 2007 he took up running as a way to stop smoking and has since completed dozens of challenges from marathons to ultra runs. In 2010 Mark completed a run from Amsterdam to Barcelona in memory of his Mum. The expedition took him from Amsterdam, through Belgium, France and to Barcelona and the finish line. The distance was 1,311 miles or 50 marathons in 56 days. The final marathon into Barcelona took Mark 3 hrs 08 minutes. Check out this weeks video with Mark and see if it doesn’t make you want to push the limits of what you’re currently working towards. To your health, Craig
