1. Eat, Move, Recover
Eat, Move, Recover focuses on building healthier lifestyles. Many of us lead increasingly sedentary and stressful lives – this masterclass provides you with the self-care tools to help manage a busy lifestyle and build resilience, taking small steps that can lead to profound changes.
Eat, Move, Recover is our flagship seminar and has been delivered worldwide within FTSE organisations, such as Standard Life Investments. Designed as an accessible and engaging 60-90 minute session, Eat Move Recover builds awareness of health and lifestyle and inspires staff to lead a healthier lifestyle.
2. Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the new word for an age-old mantra, and is sweeping the business world as entrepreneurs and professionals become more aware of research demonstrating that this practice will make them more effective and happy. Research shows that mindfulness can help reduce major causes of workplace sickness, including stress, depression and anxiety, and improve cognitive function, building resilience and happiness.
In our introduction, we look at both the research behind the theory of mindfulness, and – most importantly – introduce you to the practice itself.
We’ll guide you through some of the most simple and effective ways of practising mindfulness and meditation, teaching you how to implement the practices into your routines to become more effective, productive and happy.

3. Posture and Back Care
Back pain is the most frequent reason for sickness and absenteeism at work – most of us spend most of our time at work sitting, leaning or bending. Our posture and back care masterclass shows you how to look after the health of your back and spine. We’ll educate you on posture and basic anatomy, giving you a deeper understanding of your body and how to care of it.
We’ll also provide effective exercises for your everyday routine to take control of your health and back strength. They’re easy to follow, take very little time and are designed to fit round everyday life, but will have a profound effect on aches, pains and injuries.
4. An introduction to mental health awareness
Our introduction raises awareness of the impact of stigma surrounding mental health, and resilience strategies. In this hour-and-a-half workshop, we give an introduction to the data, legislation and characteristics of mental health, and allow time to break into groups for activities to encourage reflection and responsibility.
Each of the groups is asked to detail their understanding of mental health. We then discuss the Equalities Act 2010, its purpose and definition of mental health, and how this relates to the workplace. We initiate discussion around the common myths and prevalence of mental health illness through a group quiz. The second part of the session is used to uncover the characteristics of depression and anxiety-related mental health illness, alongside strategies for self-management and resilience, and incorporated into a final, personalised activity.
